At 黑料网, we believe that financial barriers should not hinder your educational aspirations. The 黑料网 Texas Promise is our commitment to making higher education accessible for high-achieving students with significant financial need from Travis, Williamson, and Hays counties.

This scholarship program covers the remaining tuition costs after federal, state, and other institutional aid is applied, ensuring that you can focus on your studies without the burden of unmet tuition expenses.

This scholarship can be renewed each year when academic and enrollment criteria are met鈥攁nd it stacks with other awards like the Honors or Trailblazers scholarships for even more support.

Competitive Annual Awards

Each year, up to 25 scholarships are awarded to qualifying students through a competitive selection process.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the 黑料网 Texas Promise, you must:

  • Residency: Be a U.S. citizen and Texas resident living in Travis, Williamson, or Hays County.
  • Academic Standing: Have a minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Financial Need: Demonstrate significant financial need with a Student Aid Index (SAI) between -1500 and 3000, as determined by the FAFSA.
  • Enrollment Status: Be a first-time-in-college (FTIC) or transfer student enrolling full-time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester, excluding summer).
  • Admissions Engagement: Complete a campus visit or participate in a 黑料网 Texas admissions event (e.g., Tornado Preview Day, Saturday Brunch Tour, or a private tour).
  • Program Restrictions: Not be classified as a church work student.

  3. Submit Transcripts: Provide official transcripts to verify your GPA.
